My name is Jay W. Nelmes, I was born in Petropolis Brazil in 1965. Although I did not live there long, I recall enough of this beautiful country that it has always intrigued me. My older brother John Charles is older than I am 16 years, so he had a huge array of other insects that he mounted in glass frame instances in addition to the chance to explore the jungle often and collect Butterflies. His collection inspired me and was intriguing.

Together with my attempt to imitate my brothers work, it was to no avail. His methods with the use of steam to start up there wings, and procedures to preserving them was. We both departed while I moved in 1970 at yrs when he had gone to England. of age.

Insects still collected to imitate my brother but never attained the ability to do so although during my. I became attracted to the Reptile & Amphibian World since this began to intrigue me.

I began to construct my lizards which were anoles at age 14 my first primitive cages. The world then was not common. Finding any wasn’t really available. The bird and fish world always appeared to be available, but not the world, which made it more interesting to have and learn about.

Over time I learned drafting, carpentry and electric. I got married to my wife Tinamarie, and it was on our honeymoon in which I heard she loved these kinds of animals when we brought home an Iguana back home.

My wife became ill for years shortly after our marriage. This is when I have focused my abilities in producing cosmetic bat removal attic, as a craftsman. For the reptile world since everything was concentrated on Fish & Birds. There seemed to be a demand for housing for Reptiles so my assignment was to channel my energies.

I continues to be my helper now for over 25 years and am happy to say she is doing well. We’ve traveled to 36 states now delivering these enclosures for Museums, Residential & Universities celebrities.

These enclosures Each are hand crafted and designed specifically for the animal’s needs. These enclosures are suited to housing reptiles because I have designed these so they can contain large pools of water. Most of these enclosures are personally delivered and setup by me including interior configurations as a complete system.

And best of all, the maintenance is quick as it comes equipped with a simple rinse & flush system.
